A new boy is traditionally ushered into the Bris on a white pillow, often embroidered and adorned with lace. Print this useful checklist a few days before the Bris and feel confident knowing that you’re well-prepared!
- A “Tallit” (prayer shawl)
- Bottle of wine (preferably sweet)
- Kiddush cup
- Candles
- Pillow
- Pillowcase (usually white)
- Blanket for child
- Diapers (at least 4)
- Antibiotic ointment (Bacitracin or Neosporin, etc.)
- Sterile Gauze (pack of 24 individually wrapped 3″x3″)
- Pacifier (recommended)
- Printed list of honorees
- Feed the baby (up to one hour prior to the Bris)
